When my father passed away, we found papers for a stock account with PNB Paribas Bank in Monaco. Our attorney wrote to ask if there was a balance, and no answer. I wrote to the President of the Bank and again no answer. Who can we contact to get a response. Even French lawyers will not respond when we ask for their service. It is five years now and I worry about statute of limitations. A bank as large as BNP Paribas does not respond, including its President. I even wrote to Prince Ranier and had no response. Please give me any advice you can. JC rompompe@yahoo.com

If your attorney cannot track down through public records the business, you probably need to find other avenues for legal recourse. Also since this is an international matter, you might want to consult with an attorney who has international securities law experience as well.
