We're attending an outdoor event (its an after race (running) party) and theres a note about strollers not being allowed in. Its quite a large space, not like people would are real crowded, we've been there before pre-kids so never noticed the stroller thing. Theres a childrens division - so its not like they are outlawing kids. There is a wheelchair division also and wheelchairs are obviously allowed. But since most infants cant walk, by that logic shouldnt strollers be allowed in.

It's probably a case of one or two people spoiling it for everyone else. I know I've been hit in the Achilles a few times by pushy parents. What my wife and I do is put our son in a back pack. Kelty sells a great frame pack that we have used in airports, at the zoo and snow shoeing. You don't have to worry about running into people and our son likes being able to see over everyones heads. definite a save can set any set of standards they want offering they do no longer discriminate based upon race, custom or gender. In some places using strollers could create a volatile difficulty, exceptionally in a community or shop with very narrow aisles. Strollers are additionally a large risk-free practices themes for many shops. If I had a dime for every time the food market I worked in busted somebody for stashing fancy cheese under slightly one, i might have a minimum of $5. So definite they could request you park it or depart it outdoors.

Good. I've seen too many strollers used as battering rams to hit people with. The more of them banned the better. Maybe they'll act like considerate human beings then.

where the heck do you live?

I'd get all the friends I know who has a stroller, and stand at the gate. This is discrimination.

Fight it.
