I met Jerry Rice or Ryce, not sure what it is now. I got my pix taken with him and got an autograph..
It was funny though, I was at the airport and I saw a limo pull up and I walked over and asked who was in it... BTW, it was in January last year and it was Super Bowl? Not sure....
Anyway, the man said it was Jerry Rice and I just ok..
He got out of the limo and people from everywhere was running up to him. At that time, I walked over and said, "Excuse me, I have no clue who you are but everyone else is getting pix and I want one too".. He laughed and said, "I take it you are not a football fan".. I replied with No, I follow basketball.........
Then I met Tom Hanks, he was awesome, a really cool guy...
I sat down by a guy and he had on a long white coat with tons of bling... As people approached him I got curious.. I just looked over at him and said, "Are you famous or something and who are you? He laughed so hard and introduced himself to me as P. Diddy. That name did not faze me, I dont follow that type of music..
I ve met a lot more stars but those 3 are the most recent.....

I met David Maurice Robinson you know him as David Robinson from the San Antonio spurs first round draft pick in 1987. My god is he tall and his hands were bigger then my face! I met him in 1993 I think it was April or May down in San Antonio. He came to visit where I was staying {the fisher house a place for families with critically ill family members to stay while their loved ones were in the hospital}. No he was not what I expected but he was what I stereotyped most people in his position to be. He was actually this little boy named John's "final wish". John was dying of liver cancer at age 8 and he wanted to meet his basketball hero. In came David and John's eyes lit up like you wouldn't believe. John reached out to shake David's hand but David would not shake john's. I think the fact that john had by this time turned a yellow green from liver failure might have taken David back. none the less he spent more time with the "normal" looking kids in the house then he did the boy whose wish he was there granting. I was totally disappointed. Two weeks later John died. And just so you know David's Aunt was with him and she spent more time with John then David did.

I met Steve Martin in Pasadena at the Huntington Library. He was buddies with my wife's uncle in high school, so I stopped him and informed him of the connection. He was very polite and said he had lunch with the uncle a few weeks ago.
He was very friendly. I would say he acted precisely as I thought he would...perhaps even better than I thought he would.

Met a lot of the Country singers when I lived in TN, but the one that I liked the most was Jo Dee Messina...used to park her tour bus in the parking lot of the grocery store I worked at and would come in in her sweats in the middle of the night to buy food for her entourage. Very sweet lady.

I've gotten to meet Amy Grant and a country band called Blue County. I didn't get to talk much to Amy, but she was still nice. Blue County...it's these two guys named Scott and Aaron. They were both VERY kind and I liked them a lot. I didn't expect them to seem interested in me, but they did. I liked it a lot.
