I saw the trailer and though it may contained a couple of funny gags is more of the same, same stuff....They even use cast from previous satire movies (Carmen Electra, Jennifer Coolidge) Will Kal Penn, indian actor, bring a change to this movie genre? Will Epic Movie really succeed?

They make fun of good flicks like Narnia Chronicles, Pirates of the Caribbean, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Troy, among others....I saw photos at IMDB..but still I think it is too rude, too pathetic the way they chose to mock these movies.
No sure if it will be a success, Date movie was boring.

Date movie and Scary Movie 2, 3 & 4 were all flops. This is the same genre, so there is no way I can see it working. It will get some prepubescant children to go see the movie (that's why its PG13) and make it's money back, but no self respecting adult will pay $10 to see a spoof movie without Leslie Neilson.

anyway. it really depends on your taste. i dont think it will be good, but it looks better than date movie. however it wont be better than scary movie, not including the third cause it sux/
