McDonald’s worldwide are all examples of when cultures collide. Whether welcome or unwelcome, cultures exchange ideas with each other when they come in contact. They lose their uniqueness. Example french food vs Mc Donald's. What makes a society unique and special is their norms, values and every day life, take that away and they become like others. The loss is often not tangible, but imagine 10 years from now when France no longer has french food, why would tourists visit it? what about the health of the public? wouldn't fast food destroy it?

What do they gain? i honestly can't think of any except perhaps convenience.
