I just can't see Mark Cuban's team winning it all. I think with a healthy Amare, the Suns win the west (Phoenix pushed the Mavs to six games in the conference finals last year WITHOUT Amare). Besides, the Heat (who should win the east if D-Wade, and Shaq are healthy) have already proven they can beat Dallas. And don't forget, Dallas got lucky last season, edging the Spurs in a second round series they probably should have lost. Even the Jazz have given the Mavs problems this season, by blowing them out in one game, and taking them right down to the wire, before losing by three, in another game. I'm just not sold on the Mavs winning it all.

There was no luck involved anyone who knows basketball knows that the series last year was taken away by ref's and more than likely has to do with Stern's hatered of Cuban. The Dallas Mavericks were the class of the NBA last year and are the class of the NBA this year. Check tha standings check their record against any team you prefer. Anyone who thinks Shaq and D.Wade should have had championship last year were not paying attention. The Stern thing might have worked for one year but I doubt they will push it again it begins to a get a little obvious.

The Mavs didn't have near the bench they had last year and and Josh Howard is playing like an all star. We've already beat the suns twice this year(WITH AMARE), so that means we have won the last 6 of 8. And by the way I think the Mavs showed everybody that all offense cant win it all. And that's what the Suns are. Oh and the spurs are washed up and done. We also own them now(2-0) this season. That's why there wanting to make some changes by the trade deadline. Jazz will loose first round in the playoffs. Mavs will win it all and get that monkey off there back. Oh and look how calm they are and not talking smack. That's what you call focused. Oh and did you see the spanking we layed on LOS ANGELAS last night.

Mavs Fever,
JD

If they get to the Finals, they're gonna beat anyone the east has to offer. But getting to the Finals will be the hard part. The Suns and Jazz have alot to offer this year so my money's on the Suns. I like the Mavs too but I don't think they can match the Suns offense or stop it.

I believe this is dallas year to win. I would say they have the 3rd best offense in terms of options and scores behind denver and phoenix. They seem to have a top 5 defense. This is the year that dallas will win the nba finals. The heat seem broken down and the dallas mavericks will use their championship experience to get over teams.

umn you forgot regarding the Lakers. The Nuggets or the Suns have a greater effective probability to win the western convention then the Mavericks. KIdd's getting old and is not any longer in his best not greater. only cuz they are on a 11 interest streak does no longer imply they are going to win the western convention. prevailing the western convention skill they could take on the Lakers and Nuggets/Suns. i does no longer guess on it

I thought that Miami winning was strange myself. They have 3 players on the bench that could probaly start on other teams!!! It seem like Miami would have had to score 110+ every game to win, but somehow they pulled it off. I won't go as far as to say they choked last year, but DWade is not the outstanding player that people make him out to be and the Heat were not the best team in the league last year.

I am not a Mavs fan so I hope they lose specially if they face the Lakers. But I rather have a good team and be in the playoffs every year instead of having a sucky team year in and year out...no offense to all the Hornets/Grizzlies/Bucks fans.

I agree, I think the Suns have what it takes to stop Dallas. Too bad the NBA season ends after the Western Conference finals.....
