i totally agree with you if they is one concert i will never buy a concert to is a rock i can buy for rap and hiphop but never rock its just a waist of time listenning to niose

First off lets start this with the most obvious response YOU ARE WRONG. What you are thinking of is Death metal, screamo, and some other forms of extreme metal. I listen to tons of forms of music, rock, some metal, and folk. The music i listen to is very varied but have a few things in common. The instrumentation is all done in a very skillful manner, and though vocals ranging from operatic voices (such as halford and dio) to those who are said to have less than average voices (dylan for example). BUT YOU ARE AN IGNORANT SON OF A ***** and have no idea what you aret alking about. Lemme guess.....you listen to rap, hip hop, and r&b. Lemme clue you in on something.. Rap, hip, hop and r&b are all the same damn thing. Shitty lyrics teamed up with synth line beats made up from a compter...Wheres the skill in that!!!!!!!!! MOST of them dont even write their own music wheres the skill there!!! THEY CANT SING!! WHY THE **** DO YOU LIKE THAT THEN! You choose talentless shitty synth lines over skilled musicians and composers that kow how to write music and lyrics of their own, and can express views of just about anything you can imagine, while what is rap about (todays, not old school)!! Is all SEX SEX DRUGS DRUGS and it is all writen by record companies to make ssome quick cash...so let me some this up by **** YOU

Coz Rock music brings people together
In Rock N Roll, each member get to show their talents, whether playing instruments, performing Live, writing up songs etc.
You could argue 'hey, rap music, artists write up songs/ beat and peform live too, they juz dont have any instuments'
thats true, but if you think.....in-depthly, can urban music be a timeless music? Look at pus-sy cat dolls , how many actaully do the singing and get all the attention? only one? from what i see correctly
In conclusion urban music is juz dancing around, hooking up on d dance floor, i didnt say its crap , its just not embeded, not as we called 'timeless music' as rock n roll does

Rock music is KICK @$$!!!! There is tons of different types of rock and that is a sterotipical opinion of it. Not all rock is screming. A CURSE ON YOU! :P I LOVE rock it is sooo awesome! Plus, rockers don't talk about strippers like some rappers or how sexy they are like a lot of the pop. They talk about real things. Things that matter. Rock has feeling and soul and amazing guitars and drums and pianos and whatever else they choose to use. They are very skilled. DON'T DISS IT!!!

I completely agree with morrison hotel. We know echother and i can tell u i got to an urban highschool not to bad but its one of those inner city schools(for newenglnd) but rap is just the sme beat tht never chnges at all on computers wth horrible lyrics. all i have to say is listen to some differnt rock lke procol harem or david bowie and c its not lke screamo death metal or punk its very differnt.

rock n roll is not all just screaming. you're listening to the wrong stuff. rock music can take you to an emotional place that you wouldn't be able to reach otherwise. it can be touching and an amazing experience, especially to share it with other like-minded people.

not necessarily. Rock is not always like that but i like it simply because theres no one to judge the song. most of them talk about real stuff not like sex and drugs. Its just way to calm down.

there are many kind of music out there.
programmed music - pop, techno, ambient, disco and related
straight-from-the-heart music - emo, hiphop, rnb, most of them..
talented music - classic, orchestra, vocal stuffs
rock/metal is one of the RAW music out there..
straight from the instruments.. straight from the fretboards..
straight from the drumsticks.. its pure, unfiltered RAW music..
this genre is not for ALL people out there.. it's for the esoterics, the one who appreciates this kind of music..
ppl who dont love this kind of music, it's okay.. rock/metal fans just dont care about it..
they love rock, they know it, they dont care about others..
but those who care about others, that is something else.. *abnormal*
anyway, RESPECT music for what it is.
