Who is of more value to the majority of the people, a GP or any kind of politician??

Expand on this, look at the people in our society paid the most ie, footballers, popstars and stockbrokers etc. Imagine you had to colonise a new planet with only 100 people, how many engineers and farmers would you take? How many nurses and teachers? How many Jade Goodys and Sharon Osbournes?

GPs are paid a lot, but it could be worse.

I hate politicians more than I can say, however she is right, GPs are overpaid.

I would rather pay a GP 200,000 a year, than a footballer 200,000 per week.
