since they chose -252 and not +252, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that one will be positive and the other will be negative.
252 = 2*126 = 2*2*63 = 2*2*3*21 = 2*2*3*3*7

One will be positive, one will be negative... you'll just have to try a few:
252 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 7
-252 = -2 x 126 and 126 - 2 = 124, bad
-252 = -4 x 63 and 63 - 4 = 59, bad
-252 = -6 x 42 and 42 - 6 = 36, bad
-252 = -7 x 36 and 36 - 7 = 29, close
-252 = 7 x -36 and -36 + 7 = -29!

The answer is 7 and -36
