Preventing the clasp of a necklace from sliding to the front?

Would a very heavy clasp help to solve this? I'm thinking maybe it would be weight down toward your back so it won't slide forward?

Actually that might make it worse... Try putting a small "jump ring" into the pendant into the chain to lock it down in the centre

Buy a ball with extra rings on it and attach it to the clasp in the back. I just go to clares and buy a cheap necklace that has one and I pop it off and put it on the necklace I want to wear!
