It is possible to have regular periods and not be ovulating. I thought that because I had regular periods, I must be ovulating. It wasn't until my husband and I tried to have a baby that I found out I wasn't ovulating. Next month try using some ovulation test kits after day 10 (10 days after your first day of your period) and see if you get a positive. If you don't head to your doctor because you may have other problems.

Yes, if your periods are regular, your are most likely ovulating. Weight only means something when you have something else wrong with your body. I am "normal weight" and my periods are not yet regular. ( I have recently stopped my birth control pills) You should go to the store and buy an ovulation kit. (In the condom area) I bought one for about 40 dollars and it is resusable. It works with you saliva, and it is a great way to see when you are ovulating. Good luck losing weight, it is hard but you can do it! I recently lost 40 lbs, and am getting ready to start a family, hopefully.

I am overweight and had (set your watch ) regular periods. I wasn't ovulating (not because of weight but the depo shot) But yes you will still ovulate. Your Dr can send you for a blood test on the 21st day of your cycle to check your blood for progesterone levels to see if you ovulated.

First decide in case you ovulate each cycle or no longer (in case you do, then by technique of all ability, TTC round that factor and good success). If no longer ovulating maximum cycles, then get metformin and supplies you that a attempt for few months and see in case you ovulate then. era is time-honored is easily a robust signal, yet with PCOS, it would want to also be anovulatory bleeding sometime. once you've already tried for more effective than six months to a three hundred and sixty 5 days (with metformin), then bypass see reproductive endocrinologist and perchance start up wondering about fertility meds. in case you don't desire to attend, bypass see one now (they are going to see you considering PCOS, so do not want to look ahead to a three hundred and sixty 5 days earlier seeing a professional). good success.
