It seems that you forget that Israel gave land BACK to the Palestinians... and the Palestinians screwed up the deal! The Native Americans got a raw deal, but I don't see them stepping up to "take back" anything any time soon.

I think it's a great tragedy that the early settlers destroyed the Native American way of life and gradually took all the land. I wish it could have been taken care of more fairly. They do have reservations where their laws apply rather than ours, though that doesn't come close to fair.
In the Israeli Palestinian conflict there is still time to resolve it fairly before Israel totally destroys Palestinian life. Let all refugees return, make Israel abide by international law, dismantle ALL settlements which are ALL illegal under the Geneva Convention. Either split the entire Israel/Palestine in half so that each has a contiguous country of equal size (of whose affairs Israel must KEEP OUT), or make it all one country such that everyone has equal respresentation.

I do not think that Israel want to take the land as something done by force. I think that there is a lot of land available. The conflict among Palestinians and Israelis is because they both believe that
their own religious leaders in one hand ascended to heaven and for the other hand left a landmark to be remembered.
I think that the solution to this conflict is that both countries get to an agreement to share the peace of land for what they are fighting and killing each other and respect each other´s believes.

I think Native Americans and Palestinians be given restitution. And then they should shut up and move to Miami. Peacefully. I don't think you can just move large populations without having to hoist the whole lot off somewhere else. So, if all of the North Americans left except the Indians, where would they go? People keep saying New Zealand, but then what would you do with the Kiwis? It really is a problem.

Have you never been to the Chicasaw Nation in Oklahoma? The American Indians have been given thousands of acres, at least as much land as they originally had. They are not suffering like the Palestinians under Israel's abuse. They were not originally crammed onto one tiny strip like Palestine, and they are not now. Just go to http://www.chickasaw.net/ and see.

There's so much of this contempt and resentment being hurled at the Israeli state.
But, eventually, you're going to have to accept reality:
1.) Israel isn't going anywhere.
2.) Violent extremism isn't going to solve the territorial dispute.
Delving into the history of the region only leads to more questions and more arguments. You need to judge the dispute in the context of the current era, and then move forward!

look Israel/Palestine situation is the final unsolved colonial rule interior the international. the two have the ultimate to exist and the two could remedy that colonial conflict like different former colonies. The Israeli colonist could found out that their existence relies on the existence's of the close by human beings of Palestine.

israel did decide not to build new settlements and gave $100 million of the pals money back. now if the pals and israelis can learn to treat each other like humans there may be peace. neither is innocent. contrary to what noam shalev says.
edit. chuckles the brits and israelis disagree with you.

I don't think anyone in the U.S. would have a problem with it. You might want to ask the Canadians though (right Gargirl?) becuz they can be pretty thorny about giving up their land.
I mean, the right to be free, to have have free speech, and respect the rights from others is why they killed the Indians in the first place and enslaved the survivors, right?
