I get the spray painted background, but is the image silk screened or something? How would you go about doing this?

the image most likely came from photoshop its make-up suggests a variety of the pictorial possibilities inherent in a digital program especially photoshop. the end results could have been silkscreen but that would not be necessary unless you want to print it on cloth or paper

If you mean how the art was made... it's just collage. Who klnows if the artist did it in the real or the virtual world. The sky picture with balloon looks hand drawn and inked. The Human figure looks like a photograph that's been posterized (photoshop and other programs make this easy...) Given the way people work, he probably scanned the images and stuck them together in a photoshop like program. The final reproduction does indeed suggest a screen.

The Images were created through screenprinting. And sorry, but screenprinting, requires alot of expensive equiment.
