@I'm aPastor : You just didn't understang ONE thing in the creation ! When God says one day : this means ONE PERIOD OF TIME (many thousands and thousands years). You have to read further on the Bible to understand that ! God never created one thing in ONE LITERALLY day of 24 hours !!!!! I suppose everyone knows about what is called the "big bang theory" ? The Bible emphasizes this truth! To make life possible on earth, it was first necessary that the universe comes to existence, then the heavens (with its universes : the stars we know and some which are dead nowadays) and the sun and the moon : light without which our life on earth would be impossible! After that, everything else could come into existence: the vegetation, the trees, the flowers. And then the animals. And finally the man! Nowhere in the bible is said that the first day finished before the second had began ! And so on ! And so on for all the other days (or any other period : seven full periods of maybe millions or billions of years) Nowhere in the creation it is said that a period of time could not interfere (or overlap) with another period! We can easily understand that there could have been great monsters (dinosaurs) before the first man was created ! (The bible teaches about them : "And God proceeded to create the great sea monsters and every living soul that moves about, which the waters swarmed forth according to their kinds, and every winged flying creature according to its kind." (Gen 1:21) And for God, this could be "the same day" (or the same period of time) but not the same "hour" if you understand what I mean ! God created everything with a lot of wisdom and understanding and logic ! God is the most high, the most intelligent being in the whole univers (I feel like saying : universes). Thanks for this very interesting question !

Mostly the same thing our Sun is made of, namely Hydrogen. There are some stars that have consumed all or most of their Hydrogen and are converting their remaining matter into heavier and heavier elements. Once the element Iron is reached, the Star will not have enough energy to jump to the next level so it will either cool down and become a brown dwarf or it will explode in a super Novae explosion, creating elements heavier than Iron in the process. All matter heavier than Hydrogen was made in stars in this manner, including the iron in your blood, the calcium in your teeth and bones, etc.

Stars are really great big balls of fire in Space.
They are mainly made from Hydrogen and Helium.
There are lots of other things in a star as well but its mainly those 2.
If you have seen a film showing a really really big explosion of a bomb, that is a little like what is happening in the sun.
They are really an explosion in space, the Hydrogen burns very hot and turns into Helium and stars are burning away in an explosion that will last for millions and millions of years.
Stars are basically very hot gas. This gas is mostly hydrogen and helium, which are the two lightest elements.
Stars shine by burning hydrogen into helium in their cores, and later in their lives create heavier elements.
Most stars have small amounts of heavier elements like carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and iron, which were created by stars that existed before them.
After a star runs out of fuel, it throws a lot of its material back into space. New stars are formed from this material. So the material in stars is recycled.
Hopefully this is what you wanted to know and I hope I've help develop another budding Astronomer!
Have Fun!

74% Hydrogen 24% Helium and the last 1% mostly everything else. The surface of the sun is around 5500C and the core about 15miliion

Hot burning gasses. Mainly Hydrogen but some have methane and other gasses. Basically it is a ball of fire in space fueled by the gasses in the star.

Mixtures of various gases...not all stars are composed of the same ones, which is why some stars appear brighter and bigger than others
