Hey people im a gamer but really whats the excitment about PS3??? I really do think im missing the good in it LOL im not about to pay $600 for a game system.. maybe when its a liltle cheaper ill get one but for right now im just fine with my PS 2 and PSP LOL

i've been looking at all the new generation video game systems, and i'm kinda hesitant to get one too. its a lotta cash for those things.
the PS3 is supposed to be the strongest of them all, graphics, memory, the game texturing, internet stuff, etc etc.
however, i've also read that its SO powerful and it costs so much to make that Sony has already declared that they're outta the video game market, and wont be making any future systems. i know a guy who works at a video game store, and he said they got a lot of them sent back because the first batch went out with bugs in them, and a lot of the game manufacturers have a hard time making games for them because the system is so powerful they dont know how to use it.
again, this is just stuff i've read and been told. I HAVE PLAYED ONE, and it was unreal, it looked amazing. but overall, right now it didnt seem to be worth the cash for me and my budget. maybe when the price comes down (which i dont know if it will, since Sony is selling them for less than they cost to build) i'll snag one. in the meantime, i'm happy with the games i've got.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. The PS3, while quite powerful, is priced way too high for the average consumer. You are wise to wait for the inevitable price drop. As it stands right now, PS3's are sitting on the shelves unsold all around the country. In the mean time, you'll find no shortage of great games the PS2 to enjoy, and quite a few of them are only $20.
If you really feel the need to enter next gen gaming , you could get an Xbox 360 AND an Nintendo Wii for the price of one PS3. Just something to think about.

Blue ray thats all u need to know the blue ray tecnology makes it so that the games aro so much better then the Ps2 format they hold more space for shading texture so on but relly its just the qualaty of the game

Are you kidding? The PS3 has better graphics, free internet, wirelless remote, motion senser remote, and thats all I can think of. Have you considerd a Nintendo Wii? It is cheaper.
