The book is still under copyright and any free copy on the internet would be in violation of copyright law with the consent of the publisher and author.
Good Luck!!!

Lord of the Flies is a book. Though it is very short, I highly doubt you will find it on the internet, however most public libraries will carry it as it is a well known and mass published book.

Due to copyright laws, you're not going to find it for free legally on the internet.
Here's a novel idea, step away from the computer and visit your local library. They should have a copy there you can read for free. Or, stop by a local bookstore and just read it there. Barnes & Noble, etc typically have chairs and sofas for you to read.

you probably won't find the complete text on the internet. i highly recommend www.sparknotes.com. you just go to the literature section, find it and click on the link. it will give you summaries as well as chapter analysis, quizzes, theme, motif and symbol discussion. it's a great site.
