I like all of the books that I have read by her, however, my favorite is still "MAMA: A Novel". It was wonderful to read and experience the life of this young girl and witness her growth into full-fledged woman and how she comes to terms with her family's dysfuntions - rises above, lives and loves. I just really like that one!
I also enjoyed Disappearing Acts, How Stella Got Her Groove Back and Waiting to Exhale.

i haven't read any of her novels, but i like waiting to exhale and how stella got her groove back (the movies)

how stella got her groove back because i always wanted to know.... though i find chapters prices a little expensive
