Wow! That's more than enough.

I hope he hooks you up as well.

P.S. Flowers for guys rock. We get major stud credit if you send them to class/work.

It depends on what he likes. If he likes books, a gift certificate to a bookstore would be nice; then there are gifts such as writing him a letter or poem. I cannot speak for him but I think that flowers would be a very nice gesture, if unusual, but be sure that he is not allergic to any or at least the type that you get him.

How about spending time in an activity that he likes that maybe you're not so fond of (such as attending a sport he likes)? Also, I see no reason why the gift necessarily has to be a surprise; simply ask him if there is something/somewhere to go that he wants to suggest.

I wish the both of you a very happy Valentine's Day.

It's not at all stupid to give a guy flowers! How about a picture of you taken in a nice place put into a frame? A CD? Or DVD? Also, you can go by his hobbies and pick out something from there. I think this is so cute!

A single short stemmed red rose in a bud vase is acceptable (I used to do that for my husband all the time). You could also include a mug with packets of hot chocolate mix and some chocolate covered spoons to stir it with (take plastic spoons and dip the bowl part of it in melted chocolate, let it cool, repeat 2 or 3 more times) and a small container of mini marshmellows.

This is all based on his likes and dislikes, but I have a couple of suggestions for you:
-Avoid gift cards. Sure, he can get something he likes, but it's the easy way to get him a gift. Put some thought into it. (Dont mean to be offensive, JMO)
-No flowers. Why give someone something that is going to die in a few days? Give him something that reminds him of you day in and day out.

I like flowers! In this world of greater equality, I think flowers or a house plant would be fab.
Also, a smallish photo of your lovely self in a pound store frame would be a nice finishing touch!

I think he would like a gift card to buy exercise clothes, movie tickets, or a video game. Also, buy the flowers for yourself, not him. He will like your gift, for sure.

I would give him what you already have for him, i would maybe give him a pair of those silk boxers with the hearts on them! Also that CD you made sounds pretty cool! I would not give him flowers though that is for girls not for the girls to give to a guy!

NO flowers. How about a homemade gift certificate booklet with certificates for things like "Good for one dozen home baked cookies" and "Good for one back rub"?
