When I used it, it caused me to breakout. Did this happen to anyone else? Should I use a different brand?

I have been using the Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Spot Gel that contains Salicylic Acid. It does seem to be working. I am not sure if this acne medication or moisturizer is causing me to breakout. I get stress out often and worry a lot. Does this contribute to the breakout?

When I was a teenager I used this, it made me break out too. The brand to use is Estee Lauder. It's much more expensive, but TRUST me it's worth it. All you need is 2 items. Skin Refinisher and Micro D. I am telling you -you will have the skin you want in a day!! Look for deals at the beauty counter, they even sell both items together in a special package.

I use the facial cloths with Rapid Clear Acne Defense Face Lotion. I'm a mother of four. Less stress doesn't help me, less Chocolate does & and sunlight. Sunscreen might be benificial too cause your removing protective layers of skin when clensing. Proactiv really does work too. If I'm gonna be in the house more but just until I get their sunscreen. Then it will be less usuage of Neutrogena and more Proactiv.Either way you have to continue to use one of them on a regular basis.

I would call the Customer Service/Relations Department of Neutrogena products and explain your experience. They need to hear this, plus they will send you samples/coupons to purchase other products.

I would suggest that you see a dermatologist (go to your family doctor first to see if they can help you, if not they will give you a referral), to find out what products you can use without causing irritation. Stress and worrying affects the body. Take a multivitamin, rest and drink water.

Hope this helps.

Stress might lead to skin breakouts. Try another brand if you have your doubts, but consider a healthier life style, regular exercise, lots of water and relaxation massage also a part of your beauty routine...

Whatever product you use and like you should use it. I think the working out causing acne to an extent. I was told that when you don't wash your hands and touch your face, that's were it starts. Zits suck!
