My car has two cigarette lighters and a several unused sections in the fuse box. You can, wire to the fusebox, provided you use a section that is not being used by the car already.

Get an electric powered engineer to do it. Its in reality 2 wires with a fuse you want. low priced to boot, in the journey that they opt for better than £20 chase them. questioning about it, Im positive Ive considered an adaptor in the community £ save that permits you to run 2 from a million. If its only neatness your searching for then bypass with the first idea. P.S. dont go away some thing on your motor vehicle to characterize you've a sat-nav. Its the most important motor vehicle crime wave in years.

Well if you have nay wiring skills you can cut off the plug adapter and splice in more wire and wire it directly to the fuse panel with either your instrument panel or radio. Alot of people say dont do this and I have do this dozens of times for Sat. Radio or radar detectors. As long as you pick the correct fuse link you'll be fine. This is harder to explain in writing versus just doing it myself.

Bring it to a professional installation center. They can cut off the lighter end and hard-wire the cable and run it to where you want to mount the unit.

just wire it directly, with a fuse of course. thats what i did with my garmin. i went through one of the grommets to the firewall. went under the steering wheel. velcroed the system in the dash in front just behind the steering wheel. looks clean to me.
