If Your room mate leaves for 12 to 14 weeks and leaves all their things at you house and you knows where they are but they have not taken their things because they are to lazy to get it moved could I sale the stuff with out getting finded for it (with out them been able to take me to cort for it).?...would really like to know .

well i'm no lawyer, but i'm sure you find some information at http://www.e-laws.gov.on.ca/home_E.asp?lang=en . that said i assume that he/she is no longer paying any rent, so i'm sure there is some entitlement to it with proper/legal notification to the owner. Perhaps you could ask your landlord what he has done in situations where people leave things behind.

If you really want him to pick it up, just give him notice that you'll be throwing out at such and such a date unless you hear from him otherwise. if he doesn't show, well then as far as your concerned you threw it out and you gave as much possible notice as you could.
