Elder Scrolls. It is a great game and you do not have to follow your missions, you can go off on your own and do a lot of exploring.

In the 80s, there was a Don Quijote arcade game. It was more like an animated cartoon and had arrows that pointed which way to turn. I don't know how many hours or quarters I spent, but I'd give a lot of money to play it again.

I wouldn't say they're the best, but here are some of my favorites:
PS2- "Kingdom Hearts"- good storyline. Disney characters and settings. Very cute!
PSP- "Lumines"- Tetris with a twist
Nintendo DS- "Trace Memory"- neat storyline.

either mortal kombat, or final fantsy 7. wait, i got it, the best game ever, has to be twisted metal 2. that game was the s**t. me and my dude mike used to play that game for hours. it was sweet. fun times
