I'm thinking about getting a secured credit card from Orchard Bank. I've already visited their website and started the application process but I would like to hear about any experiences that others have had with this company. Thanks.

I had a non-secured credit card when my credit was crap. They did really well by me. They increased my credit limit every 6 months, the fees were much lower than other bad credit cards and they report to the agencies in a timely manner.

The only complaint that I have about them: when my credit score increased to good, I asked them to lower my interest rate and they wouldn't. I ended up going with a card from my bank.

Orchard Bank is one of the biggest in providing secured visa cards to those with questionable credit and to those with past bankruptcies. There interest rates and annual fee are very high.
Personally, I can't recommend using them.

Your local bank should have a secured visa program available as well. You might want to check there.
