Every woman has a mixture of emotions during pregnancy. In the beginning you're almost in shock and think you're going to wake up from a dream or at least I did. I was so scared that something was going to happen. You feel every ache and pain and wonder if it's something bad or has to do with the baby. It's all very normal. All I could think of was if our baby would be okay...if I'd make it to nine months...if it would hurt ...if I'd be a good mother.....etc etc etc etc etc...this goes on throughout your pregnancy. I think I really calmed down around 12 wks pregnancy knowing I had made it through a very crucial time in the pregnancy. The risk of miscarriage drops drastically after 12 weeks. Just keep telling yourself that you'll be okay and try not to stress out too much...that's also not good for the baby. Just tell yourself millions and millions of women have done this and it's very normal. I know it's hard but just try to keep calm and do something that relaxes you and try to think positively about this. Good Luck!

You are freaking out because you are in fact pregnant.
When the hormones get kicking, women for the most part go totally insane. They'll laugh at your stinky socks on the floor and then cry when you don't pick them up. They'll think the kitten is soo cute but then say they'd slap it if it clawed up the sofa.
The fact of the matter is that you shouldn't worry because it's totally out of your control. Like getting hit by a car, or eating sushi laced with polonium 210. Completely random events can happen any time. If you worry about them all you'll simply go nuts.
But then again, you're preggers and are already nuts be default. Just go and eat a bowl of vanilla icing topped with fried chicken and oatmeal and be happy.

Ok, that is perfectly normal considering how much you want this child..........but it is also unsafe as you may be giving your body unneccessary stress which can harm the baby. Remember your first three months are the most crucial therefore you need to relax and take care of yourself to assure that everything goes smoothly. Focus more on the good thoughts like the baby getting here and you all living as a family rather than the bad thoughts. Keep yourself happy if no one else is doing it for you. You are living now for your baby to get here safely and your fiance will understand and support you through it. Most of all, pray! Pray for your baby's health and strengh and a safe delivery. You will do great!

it's best to calm down and think positive thoughts. It is normal to worry about bad things happening esp being so newly pregnant, but you need to realx and go with the flow. Take your prenatals, start eating healthy, other than that it is all in natures hand but im a believer that your mental thoughts should be positive. With every passing week you'll start to feel a little bit more comfortable, not to say there wont be more worries to come up, but try and stay calm. BEst of luck!

with my first pregnancy I freaked out every day, worrying about a miscarriage, still birth, you name it. And everything was fine! My 2nd pregnancy I never worried once, and I lost that baby at 19 weeks. The best advice I can give is, worry when you need to but don't obsess. If something is going to happen it will, whether you worry about it or not. But once you make it to 10-12 weeks the odds are in your favor! Good luck and have a healthy pregnancy!

Congratulations!! You need to calm down or your body is going to make the miscarriage happen. Yes being pregnant is the most exciting thing that can happen. I was just as excited as you are when I found out..mainly nervous because I had no one around to help me thorough it other than my husband. My mother passed away when I was 18. So just take your time and calm down and everything will go as planned.

It`s normal for pregnant women to feel unsecure, scared, even have nightmares about the baby. Our hormones go crazy during pregnancy, especially in the beginning. You will feel sad, you will cry for no reason....Just remember that is all normal and that this feeling will disappear after 15 weeks. Try to rest as much as possible, don`t smoke, don`t take drugs, don`t drink alcohol, caffeine, ask your doctor before taking any medicine (even for a simple headache) and take care of yourself. You`ll see, everything will be smooth. 9 months will fly, and you won`t believe yourself when you will hold your little baby in your arms...
I understand how you feel, i`ve been through this, too. Now my babygirl is 1 year old (in 3 months she will have a brother), she just started to walk and it seems like yesterday when she was born...

This is so normal! I was running to the bathroom every 5 minutes it seems in the first trimester of my pregnancies thinking my period was just around the corner. Part of this comes from the cramping (which feels just like terrible period cramps!) and part of it comes from a natural coping method in which our minds try and prepare us for the worst. I wouldn't take worrying about a miscarriage as a sign that there is a problem. Just keep doing what you are doing and take it easy. Good Luck to you!

Start flossing!!! No I am not a whack-o... I have heard that women who floss regularly have a lower incidence of miscarriage. They say that there is a bacteria that lives in your gums, that can travel through your blood stream & cause miscariage! So get some floss.
Also dont stress!!! Thats not good for the baby either. Relax, you CAN handle anything that comes your way. Its a normal fear but you have to stop it from consuming you!!!
