Blue whales (like all baleen whales) are seasonal feeders and carnivores that filter feed tiny crustaceans (krill, copepods, etc.), plankton, and small fish from the water. They swim then, then gulp a mouthful of plankton or fish by lunging into dense groups of krill or tiny fish with an open mouth. The water is then forced through the baleen plates hanging from the upper jaw. The baleen catches the food, acting like a sieve, while the water exits back out.

A Blue Whale's mouth is the size of a small garage, and will hold about 50 people. However, it's throat can swallow nothing larger than a beach ball.

I dunno...some plankton. They're baleen whales meaning they have a big filter in their mouth instead of teeth so there really isn't room for much.
