Do you prefere classic cartoons or the new age stuff???

They both have their strengths. Of course many modern cartoons, such as those listed by "v3_problems", are created for adults and shown after children go to bed. Classic cartoons were created for children, with enough sophisticated humour to keep the adults interested in watching with their children.
Teens and young adults answering your question will be more prone to answering according to the cartoons they watch today, which would be the new age cartoons created for teens and adults.
I watched seasonal cartoons with my son this Christmas and enjoyed the new Frosty cartoon just as much as the old original one. I find the Disney animated films go a little overboard at times, but I guess those are supposed to be viewed more like "movies" than regular cartoons seen on television.
Looney Toons will always be favourites of mine... but I'm not a fan of the rudimentary cartoons such as Hercules, Bullwinkle or the old Spiderman cartoons which seem more like pages from comic books put into motion.
Classics such as the Grinch, Charlie Brown, Hannah Barbara, Looney Toons will always be faves of mine from childhood, but I do enjoy watching the delight in my son's eyes as he enjoys the cartoons created for his generation.

Classic, only Bugs and Daffy can make a 95 and 5 yr old laugh at the same joke

I like both. The old Looney Tunes cartoons are my favourites when it comes to the old stuff, and ... well, there are loads of new cartoons I like. My favourite is "The Simpsons", but I like "Spawn" and a few Disney cartoons as well;)

Classic... nothing beats Looney Toons and Wile E. Coyote - the new stuff like the Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy are just loads of cr@p- and Woody Wood Pecker? oh my god - the funniest show on this planet

i'd have to say new age stuff. most classic cartoons are in, you know, black and white.

The new stuff has smarter undertones for adults to enjoy as well...... but the classics are, well, classic

Almost all types of cartoons are good.But the best are animations from any time old or new!!

depends on my mood though. hmm.....judging from cartoons we have now, i'd say i'd definitely go for the classics. ^_^
