Ok this is how it is, a foetus (british spelling) or fetus (american spelling) is a developing baby in the mothers uterus. U see in the first 8 weeks the baby is an embryo and is shaping into a human getting organs, fingers, toes the whole thing. And after 8 weeks the embryo becums a foetus and starts to grow. the terminology of this thing growing in the uterus changes at differrent stages and foetus is the growing stage 8 weeks to birth.
Now with different mammals the developing animal becums a foetus is at different times, but they are called a foetus.

It's like a zygote only bigger and a baby only smaller.
A mammalian foetus has many characteristics. It has a digestive system, a cardio vascular system, a brain, limbs, sense organs (eyes and ears) and skin.
