The most effective form of birth control is the birth control pill - even then, it's only as effective as the discipline of the person taking them. You should remember to take your pill each and every day.

Also, keep in mind that some medications, like certain antibiotics, can cause birth control pills to be less or completely non-effective. Always check with your doctor if you are taking "the pill" when he/she is prescribing you a new medication.

All forms of birth control must be used according to their directions and must never be skipped. You can't use a condom 4 out of 5 times and expect to NEVER get pregnant. Wear it each and every time.

If you're not in a committed relationship, even if the female is on birth control, the male should wear a condom - as an extra precaution for preventing pregnancy and for decreasing the risk of STDs.

It depends on what you're using. Most birth control is at least 95% effective as long as you use it properly. Remember that most types of birth control other than condoms DO NOT protect against STD's!

BIRTH CONTROLL IS ONLY ABOUT 90 - 95% effective. I personally knew someone who got pregnant while taking birth controll.

Differenty types of birth control have different levels of effectiveness. You have to use them all correctly, no matter what you use. What type were you talking about? IUD? Condoms? Spermicides? Birth Control Pills? Patch????

pill is like 99% effective...
other methods are good, too.
i think condoms are not as effective but still i think maybe 87% or so.

the key to effectiveness is using the birth control correctly every time.
