And you think Bush isn't ignoring the illegal immigrant situation?

Has he made or enacted a plan to end it? Has he tried to get congress to allocate funds for it in the past 6 or 7 years?

No, he hasn't. So he's ignoring it too.

The fact is that there are too many people here from Mexico that came here legally. They are also taking the sides of those who come here illegally. Nobody wants to alienate the vote of the legal immigrants from Mexico so they don't do anything about the illegals. Not republicans OR democrats. Nobody wants to lose a potential vote!

I hope you wanted an honest answer and not just wanted to get a pat on your back for your views. If so, then you shouldn't post this stuff on a site designed to answer questions.

People look up to their politicians for guidance and doing the right thing and we are justifiably annoyed when they break the law. Just because we are mad at Bush and cronies, Colonel North etc does not mean we are vilifying illegal immigrants and all the other problems in the US and worldwide.

Blame Congress for not doing away with the Anchor Baby Loophole and funding the agents needed to bust all of the employers who have created the demand for undocumented workers!
Now also blame Congress for not allowing local enforcement of their laws and for ever allowing elected City representatives to declare themselves "Sanctuary" Cities in violation of this Country's laws-Bush gets a big chunk of that Blame-he is the enforcer!

even with the reality that your rant is riddled with question marks, it kind of feels slightly rhetorical. the problem is the U. S. coverage of "Born in u . s . = American Citizen", it truly is only incorrect. This encourages women folk in labor to bypass the border and take position at your pleasant community medical institution. The regulation desires to state that babies born to overseas nationwide mom and father may have the citizenship of those mom and father. If the mother and father of the youngster are from distinct nationalities, the youngster must have twin citizenship till the age of majority, at which period it ought to declare citizenship and take a citizenship oath for the rustic it chooses. If both mom and father are human beings, inspite of if the youngster is born on overseas soil, the youngster is an American citizen. This appears like a really instantly ahead experience theory to me.

Selected stupidity.

You see they want that 20+ million to end up being registered Democrats so they will do ANYTHING to help get them as citizens. President Bush for some insane reason agrees with these idiots. I say send them all back, and if they want back in then APPLY LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.

Votes
It is all about votes.
Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats have any principals when it comes down to the prospect of millions of potential votes.

Some people (a large % of libs) don't see our laws as black and white but feel they are fluid which means they can chose which ones are important. Laws are laws and should be enforced.
