i need sound driver for radeon 9000. I haven't got a clue what im looking for really! Any help would be great, ive had no sound for nearly a week!

a radeon is a graphics card, it does not have sound. there will ofcourse be no such driver.
instead try the latest catalyst graphics driver from http://ati.amd.com/
but as you have no sound... then a graphics driver is not what you need, you need to find the make and model of your sound chip/card and then find its driver... a clue: its not a radeon your looking for!
