Is the motorola razr v3 really as good as everyone thinks?

One of my family members recently called and told me that they have ordered me a pink razr v3. What are some pros and cons of the phone?

+ Small sleek deisgn
+ Good picture quality
- Very little memory
- Terrible battery life
The upgrade of this phone is the V3i, which is slightly better.

I have one, I really like it a lot.
Pros- cool looking design, compact, good call sound quality.
Cons- not all that study, and the screens get smudged from fingerprints really easily.

All in all, this is the first phone I'd consider keeping beyond my 2 year commitment.
