you mean like cowboys and indians or shadowboxing? i guess it has to do with maturity. but i think if grown ups would take the time to play act in their back yard or basement that would be very therapeutic for stress reduction. in psychiatry this would be known as pychodrama. i'm 23 and i still play act-my favorite is to pretend that i'm a kung fu star starring in my own movies-my friends think i'm a retard for doing this but screw em' i do it cause it feels good and passes the time.

Do you mean "why can't we play when we get OLDER"?...

I'd say just because we don't have enough time to play... Well, I still do (sometimes), mostly "Solitaire", some video games (I'm not very good, though), etc...

People are too concerned with what "maturity" is...so some things are too immature for older people in order to have class or good status.
