i live in NY so yea a major city, hopefully it comes in the same day
PS the movie is Saw 3 i dont know if its high in demand

It depends if you live in a major city or in a more rural area.
I would bet on next day, and maybe you'll get lucky and get it the same day. For things that are in high demand- like new Harry potter books- there is usually a disclaimer saying that it will arrive the day it is released if you pre-order it.
I've pre-ordered DVDs from amazon before and have had it arrive the same day it was released, but I also live in a major city..

If you pre-ordered a movie from Amazon, I'm pretty sure that they will ship it out to you the day the movie comes out, so you won't get it until the day after.
