Colleges have become much, MUCH less liberal than they were. In almost every institution there are conservative groups, professors, and activists. Believe me.
But more importantly, do you not trust your son? Part of the academic experience is hearing the other side and learning from it -- either rejecting it or accepting it. If you don't want your son exposed to another side's view, then perhaps you're too afraid that your views won't hold up to thoughtful scrutiny?
If you're that paranoid, send him to Liberty University or some other extremely conservative place where he won't be exposed to other perspectives. I'm sure that will be a _much_ more valuable education... (Sarcasm alarm).

Here's a suggestion. Send him to a college where he won't be indoctrinated by either leftists or rightists. Conservative jingoes are just as pernicious as leftists are.

I wouldn't worry-I'm sure you've given him a nice conservative foundation of closemindedness. I'm sure he'll be recording his professors for "evidence" and we'll be reading about him in the media soon! Of course, he won't learn about the world but he can probably work for Fox News!

you're ridiculous...it's that kind of unwillingness to listen, by either side, that paralyzes this country and causes us not to move forward.
