With left-wing, anti-American leaders in Latin America welcoming President Ahmadinejad, and as this Marxist-Islamist friendship grows, doesn't it spell out d-a-n-g-e-r to American security and make the need for action against Iran's nuclear program even more pressing? Mr. Ahmadinejad visited Latin America for the second time in four months this weekend. In Venezuela, he was received at the airport by President Chavez. "Welcome to Venezuela, where Iran is beloved. We give welcome to a distinguished leader, the leader of a heroic people and of a revolution kindred to the Venezuelan revolution: the Islamic revolution."

Doesn't that place the enemy at our backdoor, in our hemphispere at the least, by allowing enemies who possess nuclear weapons to set up forward operating bases within range of our cities? And doesn't their new found affinity set the stage for this situation?

I think Venezuela is just trying to keep the US' head up and aware. Bush appears to think of the US as too powerful and invincible. Chavez is trying to make him aware that he still has a lot of opposition that isn't afraid of his threats.

Not even close. Kennedy wasn't up against Cuba. He was up against the Soviet Union, whose puppet was Castro. There is no analogue to the USSR involving either Iraq OR Venezuela. Chavez is just an idiot.

AFFFFFFFF.... Another question like that and I'll blow up.

Listen girl: why would Chávez want to throw a missile int the US? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? WHY?

Stop beeing paranoiac. And keep sayying that you'll invade Venezuela, you'll invade Iran, blah blah, blah, and all you'll get with that is Venezuela making alliances with Iran. The alliance with Iran is a self-defence alliance in case the US invades one of them. So shut up and let Venezuelans choose their leaders.
