Honey, I am sorry to tell you that you fish is dead. Anytime a fish is floating at the top of the tank and is not moving anything (fins, gills, etc.) the fish is dead. Sometimes they don't even float, sometimes they are sitting at the bottom, and they are still dead. Don't get discouraged, fish die. Have yourself a fishy funeral, either toilet bowl or bury-under-dirt style. The fish is in a better place now.
PS: You should never take a fish out of the water if it's alive. That will put the fishy on a one way express to fishy heaven. Also, future reference, always have a fish take that has a built in filter. Much better for your little fishies.

Sounds like its dead to me. Here's what you should do. Go to the store and buy an aquarium, filter and a heater. Go home and set it all up and put water in it. Then go to the store again and buy 2-3 fish and you'll have a lot more success.

i am sorry to tell you but your fish is probably dead!!! but don't be discouraged but you can get another fish!!! well hope i helped. hope you have better luck next time. you should probably get a actual tank with an air filter that circulates the air so that they can breathe. because if they keep breathing the same air it will kill them.

this sounds odd but play them 70s metal. they love rocking out to AC/DC, KISS, stuff like that. its even better if you dress up and play air guitar for them. get a lighter and wave it in the air and sing freebird. fish have a strange affinity for the 70s.

You shouldn't keep fish in a bowl. Your fish probably died because the water quality was poor.

Im sorry to tell you, the little guy is dead. You should remove his as soon as possible. It is not good for your other fish for the dead one to be in there.
