Personally, I think it's a little too late to get an annulment if you've been married for more than a year. They should just get a divorce if they can't work it out.

I don't beleive that a marriage can be anulled that has gone on at least a year, and anything that happened before the marriage wouldn't be grounds for divorce either. There are differeent laws in different states, for this you should consult an attorney. Usually no fault divorces, where both parties agree are less public. Annulments and divorce though are public record, so anyone can look up these records at any courthouse in America.

Hello, it really depends on the State that you are in , but most States you have too get an annulment without have been sexually at all , ( sorry couldn't spell the word I wanted too write) in the first year that I know of . Good Luck & Best Wishes too you & Your Friend !!

you can only have an annulment if you were married in the church, and it has to be done if the first year of marriage, and if it was before they were married she should get over it. what did she think he was a virgin?

Tell your friend to let it go. It's in the past, and it happened before they were married. What is probably causing the discord in their relationship is her unforgiveness. She has to forgive him in order for the marriage to work. Life itself isn't easy. We all have faults and we as humans make mistakes. Remember, no one is perfect, including you and me. As long as it doesn't happen again, she should try to work it out. In the meantime, YOU stay out of it...

in most states without sufficient grounds, the judge will order counseling to save the marriage..only after the counselor says there is no hope, can the marriage be considered(by the judge) to be canceled.......
