I guess it depends on what country you are in. In the US, the Grand Vitara is a 4-door, V6 version of the Vitara (successor to the Sidekick). But we did have a 2-door Vitara (or Vitara Sport) that was a convertible with a small section over the front passengers and the roof from the b-pillar back is removeable. In some countries these were all called Vitara and in some countries they were all called Grand Vitara (I searched Suzuki's worldwide website some time ago). Not to be confused with the Grand Vitara XL7 (7 passenger - no convertible).

In any case, they are all fun to drive and my experience has been that they are reliable.

There used to be a version w/ a removable roof(almost like the old Suzuki Sidekick, which was the Vitara's predecessor--the Sidekick was in turn the predecessor to the older Jimny JX/JLX series[called the Samurai in the US])...

The Grand Vitara was a little bigger than the standard Vitara series(think of it as Suzuki's answer to the Range Rovers)...

Grand Vitaras came ONLY in a long-wheelbase version w/ seating capacity for 7(or maybe 8) people...the only roof it had was an optional sunroof over the driver and front passenger seats...

But NO removable roof ever!...

HTH...

No. You might be able to buy a sunroof though.
