As for those who made a few uncalled-for comments...I'm really happy for you all, cause I see your lives are perfect...I'm SURE if you all knew the situation, you wouldn't point for fingers at me or judge me,but some people don't seem to have anything better to do(Even Online)...

You have to pay support until the children are 18.
"Home-School" is a legitimate education choice so that would have no barring.

The court ordered child support which includes everyday issues! The court may frown upon the fact that your ex has allowed the child to disenroll from school but I don't see a change or reduction in the amount of child support paid.
You may also consider contacting your attorney due to the circumstances surrounding the disenrollment from school. Sounds like the ex is having a problem with lack of parental supervision!
Best wishes!

How could you even consider withholding child support? You know it's for your kids, right?
Yes, you'll still have to pay. Home school vs. public school will not effect what the children need, so therefore it won't effect what you're due to pay. And yes, home school is usually regulated by the regional school district, so it's considered "regular" school...all the kids have to learn specific curriculum, and have to pass the districts tests to get through each grade level.

you would have to pay child support until the child is 18 or graduated which ever come LAST. so if the child drops out of public school and is home schooled you would still have to pay. (i would think anyways because they would still be getting a dipolma)

I think you have to pay until the child is 18 regardless of whether or not they are in school.

Pay what you are required to pay, and please continue to support your kids (not saying your not), no matter how old they get. I don't mean this in a bad way, but I am a single father of two girls and my ex does not pay squat. But do what you need to do and want to do, take care.

yes you do! until the age of 18, and then some, if your divorce decree requires it. why would you not want to pay anything you can to take care of your kids?
