North Shore Movie Turtle

Turtle spoke in a combination of broken Hawaiian "pidgin" and California "surfer" slang in that movie.

He says something like "Shucks, didn't matter for nothing, bradda bradda." Which is similar to saying "No problem, bro."

Bradda is slang for brother. Matt-a is how they say matter, so didn't matter sounds like didda madda when said quickly. Nuttin is how they say nothing, without the "h" in there.

Most people in Hawaii don't say it that way, many would say it like "No matter, brah." I've heard Hawaiian slang most of my life, but Turtle broke it up in much of his lines.

I've never seen the North Shore movie. I've seen some episodes of the series.
