Is it possible to be "perfect"? I wonder a lot about that. I mean, the "perfect" person has to be kind, caring, never jealous, never selfish and they can never have a bad thought toward anyone.
On an omniscient level they'd basically have to be Buddha or God or Allah (etc.). But even they weren't perfect. Or else why didn't they make everyone else perfect? It's such a hard question. You have to think in terms of a very high level of BEING.
The perfect person would be smart and athletic and stuff like that on a superficial level. But if you were perfect to one person (say a Republican) then you'd probably support Bush. But that would make you imperfect to another person (say a Democrat).
So the real question is how can you be perfect to EVERYONE?

Perfect Human being is a myth. Humans can never be perfect. No matter how good he is still he will have some faults. Perfection is a mirage behind which running makes it go much further.

Most people who were tortured and then nailed to a cross did not have a very forgiving state of mind at the time. Now because Jesus (God's Son), while he was up there on the cross in mortal agony, actually found it in his heart to not only forgive his tormentors, but all of humankind as well, God decided that He too would forgive all of humankind, reasoning that since even his own son could do it while humankind was hammering spikes through his limbs, then He (God) could also forgive mankind, and as an extra bonus... ...if you believe in the above story I just told you, God will divinely preserve and save your self-awareness identity essence when you die and allow you access to a really nice other-dimensional afterlife realm. Makes perfect sense, doesn't it. I don't know about you, but...I think I'm gonna believe. Why not, it's so easy.
