I live in an upstairs apartment. I need to have a washing machine moved from a house about a block away. I don't have one here currently so there is nothing to move down. What kind of price am I looking at? Thanks!

If all you want moved is the washing machine then ask tow guys at work or church. they are light weight and should n't be a big deal. If you have to pay someone I would say 20 bucks each for two.

It depends on what type of friends you have. It would be best to have two men and a dolly. Should take about an hour,if all the plumbing is in you new home.

well if you get a company like sears to do it you will pay a ton but if you get a handyman to do it I would give him 30 dollars if I knew him and had gotten a good recomendation , but remember this if you hire a cheap guy to do the job and he messes up something then he wont be liable to fix it.as another alternative I would go to u-haul and rent a dolly for 10 bucks and do it myself and make friends along the way.It will surprise you how many folks will be wanting to help you.
