yes, sprint phone can use walkie talkie between sprint customers, its called the RLINK or readylink, and its $5 a month, unless its already included with some plans.

I work somewhere that we sell both nextel, sprint and all the other companies phones and the answer is no sprint does not have walkie talkie capabilities. However nextel does. Sprint and nextel will be merging i believe sometime soon and the walki talkie funtion will no longer be available, so i hear from out sprint representative
