A lot of people, including Mariah Carey, Air Supply, and Heart.

The song was originally recorded by a group called Badfinger on a 1970 album (No Dice); the song was written by Pete Ham and Tom Evans.

Depending on when someone grew up/listened to the radio, you'll see a variety of answers. (For me, Air Supply first came to mind. Admittedly, I cringed.)

Without You

No I can't forget this evening,
Or your face as you were leaving.
But I guess that's just the way the story goes.
You always smile but in you eyes your sorrow shows.
Yes it shows.

No I can't forget tomorrow,
When I think of all my sorrow,
When I had you there but then I let you go.
And now it's only fair that I should let you know
What you should know

I can't live, if living is without you.
I can't give, I can't give any more.
Can't live, if living is without you.
Can't give, I can't give any more.

No I can't forget this evening,
Or your face as you were leaving.
But I guess that's just the way the story goes.
You always smile but in you eyes your sorrow shows.
Yes it shows.

I can't live, if living is without you.
I can't give, I can't give any more.
Can't live, if living is without you.
Can't give, I can't give any more.

I can't live, if living is without you.
I can't give, I can't give any more.
Can't live, if living is without you.
Can't give, I can't give any more.

Harry Nillson 1971: Without You (US #1, US A/C #1, Canada #1)
Both Mama Cass Elliot and later Keith Moon died in Harry's London flat. Believe someone who is old enough to remember.

A lot of people sang that song. It was originally done by Badfinger for their album "No Dice" in 1970.

"Without You" became a hit single after being covered by Nilsson for his album Nilsson Schmilsson in 1971

for this generation, its the Mariah Carey version that's the most popular. It was a #1 hit in UK and a #3 hit in USA.

WITHOUT YOU (Mariah Carey)

No I can’t forget this evening
Or your face as you were leaving
But I guess that’s just the way
The story goes
You always smile but in your eyes
Your sorrow shows
Yes it shows

No I can’t forget tomorrow
When I think of all my sorrow
When I had you there
But then I let you go
And now it’s only fair
That I should let you know
What you should know

I can’t live
If living is without you
I can’t live
I can’t give anymore
I can’t live
If living is without you
I can’t give
I can’t give anymore

Well I can’t forget this evening
Or your face as you were leaving
But I guess that’s just the way
The story goes
You always smile but in your eyes
Your sorrow shows
Yes it shows

I can’t live
If living is without you
I can’t live
I can’t give anymore
I can’t live
If living is without you
I can’t give
I can’t give anymore

"Without You" was originally written and sung by Badfinger on their 'No Dice' album from 1970. It was also covered by Air Supply and a few others. The lyrics were originally written by Pete Ham and Tom Evans....... But of course we are more familiar with Mariah Carey's cover
