That depends on you. A lot of people like the 'Monarch Control' or 'Cyber Dragon' based decks. Decide what types of monsters 'catch you eye' and build your deck around them. Remember...try to use effect monsters whenever possible. Normal monsters can have some problems in tournaments without a lot of cards to support them. Good Luck.

Popular does not mean it is the best. Monarch Soul Control, Chain Strike Burn, and Different Dimension decks are all popular. But they are easily countered, there are many decks made specifically to destroy and shut down popular deck types. Though they rarely make it in tournaments, because not everyone doesn't use the decks its built against. I suggest something powerful but original, so people won't prepare their side deck to destroy your deck. That's what I do :)

Current metagame includes using the monarch control deck which features gaining card advantgae by using the monarch cards and beating your opponent down. Cyber dragon decks are also quite popular as well.

thats a tough one but try the one with uria lord of searing flames but remember no deck is without weakness and you just have to get a deck that is powerful enough and make it work good luck!!!!!
