Corruption - dishonest; taking bribes, depraved - is as old as society. Earlier in Greece corrupt officials were dismembered; their limbs were torn apart by horses. Now these methods are far too archaic. The modern method is to make the guilty either a politician or give him a rise in rank if he is in service. "Old habits die hard".
The solution is to be the "Whistleblower". Report the matter to the correction authority. Only then can corruption be kept in check. Eradicated, not a chance. God has given man free will and only that man can decide for himself, not the rest of the world. But severe punishment to the guilty will keep corruption in check.

As all acts coming from the human behavior, corruption is part of the human condition, this is not a phenomenon but our stigma, everybody have a price, it is just a matter how much must be payed, it is like the color of our blood, never could be changed, it exists since the Neanderthal man in all forms, in my opinion there is no way to eradicate it.

Corruption has always been international phenomenon. I doubt that it will ever be eradicated.

corruption is international because it is part of human nature. i don't think it will ever be likely to be eradicated.

corruption is always easier. there can be no eradicating it, it is in our blood and in our ways always. all we can do is resist one at a time and try to help others to do the same.
