Ha ha ha. People have been predicting the end of the world based on the writings of Nostradamus for centuries. So far they have all been wrong. Why would your friend be right? Look, the guy wrote almost a thousand quatrains of ambiguous poetry over 500 years ago. The bulk and chaotic nature of the works makes it very, very easy to interpret it in any way you see fit. Hundreds of world events have been "predicted" by people claiming they used Nostradamus, but it is all hogwash. It is like my dad watching a movie. He sits there and comes up with dozens of possible endings to the movie, basically covering every possible conclusion, then when ONE of the endings he picked turns out to be true, he declares himself a genius for figuring out the film. That is the exact same thing that Nostradamus people do. Even if someone is right about something, it will not be because they read Nostradamus. It will be because they finally got lucky.

No there will be more plagues and end time events up untill the Birth of a man will want to unite most of the world under his power and those do not follow will him by taking his mark will either starve to death or die. But do not be afraid for Christ is coming quickly and he will judge the un-righteous. But I plan on being Raptured with God before any of this will ever happen but you must confess Jesus Christ as Lord and be born again. There will be people who accept Christ as Lord after the rapture but it will be very difficult to have faith and be a Christian during those times because the world will hate and Kill anyone they know who is one.

No, the world will not end so soon in 2010.
I have read several books and came across the same thing.
All said sometime in 3000AD....and I believe it to be so because in those books, all disasters, tragedies and events happened as said.

I doubt it. Nostradamous said so many things some were bound to be right, most were wrong. Unfortunately, the tabloids only print what they perceive as being the accurate predictions, while ignoring the incorrect ones.

in the bible it states that God was the only one to truly know although he did say to Jesus what signs would come....it states that famine will hit, diesease by the thousdands, nation agiants nation, earthquakes and drought...all this has already happened so it is very possible that it could end at anytime...it is his decision but have faith and don't think about it...it will come when it comes i do not believe there is a set date for it.

Only God knows when the world is going to end.We have no clue as humans.
God Says he will come like a thief in the night.
He say we will not know the hour the the moment or day.
That's why he tells us to be ready Spiritually
