I am using compaq-lexmark inkjet. Currently the printer contains a black-17 catridge. The catridge has sufficient ink but the tragedy is the ink has been dried out because of long unuse. Can the catridge be reused?

No. You risk clogging other areas of the pinter.

Take it to walgreens they can refill it for only 50% of the retail price.

yes they have refill tanks...you can get them almost anywhere
