We have three cats, and two of them are very close to each other (male and a female). A while back, my wife proposed having a wedding ceremony for the two of them...and I thought it was a silly joke.
Today, I found out that she is for real...she actually sent invitations out for this ceremony...
Behind my back, she booked a hall, justice of the peace, ordered flowers and actually HIRED A DJ!!!!!!
I'm livid at this idea and this stupid waste of money. She has been pissing money away quite a bit lately and I think this is the last straw.
...what should I do?

As a counselor myself, my professional opinion is that yes, your wife is crazy. But not nearly as crazy as people who make up stupid questions and post them on Yahoo Answers.

Are you serious? Didn't your bride know what a JP wedding was before you went through with it? Yes, it is NOT personal; very short; and God is never mentioned. That is the way all of those ceremonies are. If you wife is religious, why didn't she insist on a church wedding from the get go? All you can do now is to have your wife contact her pastor/priest/minister and see about getting your marriage blessed in the church. This would NOT, however, be another "wedding." The wedding you had at the JP was a "real wedding" no matter how short and impersonal it was.

As a DJ I suggest you play:
"The Alley Cat" by Bent Fabric
"Look what the Cat dragged in" by Poison
"Cat Scratch Fever" by Ted Nugent
and
"Stray Cat Strut" by The Stray Cats
otherwise this is a completely absurd party. I hope your DJ brings kitty litter. Have fun! It sounds like a crazy idea, but to each his own.

Hired a DJ???
What will they sing, the Meow Mix commercial theme???
Did she get a wedding dress and tux for the cats?
I think you might be able to profit off this... just think of all the people who would attend just out of curiousity (no pun intended) ... and give you lots of money for sympathy, being her husband and all.
AND if you like the spotlight, you will definitely make the news BIG TIME!
If you decide to cancel...... I'd like to steal the idea!

Oh My God... I seriously hope this is a joke. If not, and she really did this... she needs proffessional help. Marriage is a ceremony amongst HUMANS... animals need not apply. That is crazy.

She's just a hopeless romantic who is transferring feelings for some reason. Nutty as a fruitcake though. You gonna keep her?

I'm sorry but imo this is looney! I think she must have mental problems if she's serious. Sorry.
***note*** Now that I looked at your other questions I see this is a joke. ha-ha

Do you have any children? If not, divorce. I hate to say this, but she is off of her rocker...
Did you know about this before you were married? If you did, then you are to blame to..but if not..man, get out of this one QUICK
