It appears that you are doing pretty well already. You have to fine tune and determine your strength and weakpoints by analyzing your previous test questions or interview etc. If it involved any practicals.
Discuss it with your associates and develop some new strategies. Keep focus on what you are already good on, and strengthen the weaker areas.
What is your answering strategy?
Are you you always able to answer all the questions?
Do you run out of time and are unable to answer some of the questions?
Are you always able to go back and do a quick review of all the questions or take notes of the ones you were not sure of?
All your examination tools are in good order - pen, pencil, eraser, calculator - when allowed, watch etc.
In multiple choice questions a very high score is possible. But in essay type questions a certain amount of subjectivity on the part of the examiner is always involved.
You may explore the following or any other similar webpages if it can be useful or otherwise talk to your peers and establish some new winning strategies:

Do You score well in ur school examinations ? My dear friend I tell u if u are a topper in school then dont be over-confident during the boards that may just pull u down. If u are an average scorer in ur school then u will do very well in the boards with sustained efforts. But DON'T ever loose hope that u cant do it . U can surely do it. Abt. Maths I will tell u best things. Phase 1 Exercizes and worked out examples from the text book then draw graphs. Practise constructions to obtain accuracy. Spend atleast 2 hours for ur maths per day Phase 2 What ever board u may be State or Matric or CBSE purchase extra books other than text book and do the exercizes in them. Phase 3 Work out Previous years' public exams papers. Got it ?

Repetition is the only way to reach your target. Keep repeating the studies/lessons. Follow RRR method for improving your memory power.
First R stands for READING for 20 minutes at a stretch
second R stands for REST for 3 minutes
third R stands for RECALLING the contents you studies during earlier 20 minutes time. Just repeat this procedure and see the results!

Exam board ordered to improve services
, the exam board at the centre of a furore over mistakes in an AS-level maths paper, is failing to meet its responsibilities to schools and colleges, the qualifications watchdog ruled last night.
Edexcel was given until the end of the month to satisfy the qualifications and curriculum authority that it could deliver the results of next summer's exams, and to "improve significantly" its services by May.
